What sets our work apart is everything you never see. Cheap crews cut corners on the things beneath the surface — thin slabs, inadequate base compaction, no reinforcement, and joints placed by guesswork — and in this climate those shortcuts surface within a season as scaling, frost heave cracking, and premature settling. We do it the opposite way. Every exterior surface is placed with ACI 318 F3-class air-entrained concrete carrying 6 percent air entrainment and a maximum 0.40 water-cement ratio, over 6 to 8 inches of compacted Class 5 aggregate base engineered for Bloomington’s
clay-heavy glacial soils, with reinforcement and control joints tooled at planned intervals to direct cracking where it belongs. Foundations and footings are set to the 42-inch minimum frost depth Minnesota Rule 1303.1600 requires for Hennepin County Zone II, so they bear below the frost line rather than heaving with it. You can finish surfaces broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped and colored — and we manage Bloomington Building Division and Engineering Division permits and inspections from submission through final sign-off.

For more than 20 years we have worked throughout Bloomington and the Twin Cities metro, and we built this company to strip out everything homeowners and property managers dread about hiring a

We handle the Bloomington Building Division and Engineering Division permits and inspections so you don’t have to, seal every finished surface with a penetrating silane-siloxane sealer against salt, moisture, and UV, and stand behind our work with a written workmanship warranty covering materials and labor.
